Quepos is located on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast just 40 air miles from the capitol city of San Jose

Location and Directions
House is located 1 mile from Quepos and 5 miles from the Manuel Antonio State Park. The Villa is on a private road that winds through the rainforest, and is about 750 yards off of the main road Two other houses are on our road, both owned by Europeans. Neither house is visible from Villa La Macha. The Villa and Guest House are perched above Playa La Macha, and are the only structures above this beach and cove. Playa La Macha is a 10 minute walk down a steep dirt road and is usually uninhabited. An island 200 feet out in the water from the beach is filled with seabirds and can be walked to at low tide.

Getting to Quepos and Villa La Macha
Sansa (www.flysansa.com) and TravelAir offer frequent daily flights from San Jose to Quepos (XQP) airport. The flight is just 20 minutes and costs under $50. Renting a car is also an option. Alamo and Payless/Elegante have local outlets and are flexible about renting in one location and dropping off in another. Driving from San Jose takes about 3 hours over decent roads. We will send you specific directions to the house upon confirmation of reservations.
