We were celebrating our friend’s 50th birthday. Villa La Macha was a very special place for a very special ocassion and friend. Jota in particular was invaluable. It was a wonderful experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything - absolutely everything - exceeded our expectations.

The house and setting were spectacular -- even moreso than we had anticipated. The staff was extremely efficent, nice and helpful.

We loved everything! Jota and the ladies made the experience that much better! The food, the views, the pool, private beach, were all amazing.

The home, grounds and view were absolutely beyond my expectations and by far the most amazing place I’ve ever been. The staff was incredible, helpful and friendly. I’m not sure there is anything that would’ve made the stay better, except maybe a zipline to the beach. ;) Since returning I’ve sent the link on to several people planning vacations in Central America and hope that they will be able to enjoy the same phenomenal experience as we did. Additionally, we’ve already planned to come back next year - and the time can’t pass quickly enough! :)

This is our 2nd trip to the Villa and we just love it! It is the perfect vacation for our family. We did a few activities, but mostly relaxed and enjoyed the Villa and trips into Quepos and Manual Antonio. The kids look forward to Jota entertaining them with the lizards, frogs, coconuts, and other wildlife that abound. The food that Cathya and Sarah prepared was excellent as was the cleanliness of the villa. The service that Jota and your staff provide are top notch and make you feel completely at home and relaxed.The Villa is spacious with amazing views, gardens, and jungle life everywhere. It is beautiful and a wonderful place to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

The visit to Villa La Machas was extraordinary. Jota was the absolute best and the food was amazing.

I would say that the staff made our vacation wonderful. They bonded with our kids and were always friendly and enthusiastic.

Everything was near-perfect. Jota & staff were awesome.

I loved that the Villa was set away in a jungle setting. Everyday the house had its own nature lesson waiting for us. It was very private. The view was unbelievable. Jota made the stay. He was the glue that bound the vacation.

It was like having our own private hotel. The staff were amazing and we loved the house.

It was great, we’re still talking about it. I’m hooked on Sara’s guacamole recipe! Still making it 2 times a week. Talking with Jota, Sara and Kathya about Costa Rica and local customs made the visit even better. I can’t think of anything that would make it better.

One of the most enjoyable vacations we’ve had!

We loved Jota. He was simply amazing and was the icing on the cake for us. He is very organized and on top of everything. The master bathroom was an experience, not just a function. The house is built with such care and dedication to being apart of its environment. The whole experience was truly magnificent.
