“I can’t imagine our stay being any better... We still had plenty of sun and animals and the kids had a great time too (their behavior wasn’t perfect but we’re working on that this week!) We had a mix of ages in our group and the activities in the area accommodated everyone. The pool was fabulous. I don’t think I missed a day at Cafe Milagro (The espresso shake EVERY day!!!) Jamie couldn’t have been any more helpful or friendly. We wished we had asked him more and followed his lead a bit more - We’ll just have to wait until next time! Cecilia too, should be applauded. Her food truly was better than any other restaurant in the area. And what a sweet woman - she seemed to take such joy and pride in her work, and so efficient too. The time it took her to prepare the vast amount of food for us was beyond my comprehension. Her sautéed green papaya was one of my hi-lites (and I don’t even like papaya). Thank you so much for all of the accommodations and help and answers to our questions. We had an absolutely wonderful time.”

Jamie and Ceci were excellent. My son turned 8 when we were there and Jamie and Ceci put together a nice surprise party for him. He’s still talking about and it took a while for my wife to stop crying because she was so moved. I can’t wait to return and bring some of my friends down and experience it. Thanks again."

After visiting various escapes from our Maine winters over the years, I must say that the time at your home was one of the best we have had. Having Ceci and Jamie there was the best part of the experience. I run a small company with sixty plus employees and I would feel very fortunate to have one with the integrity and honesty of Jamie. He and Ceci went beyond expectation in every way as they accommodated our every wish. Although we three couples come from very different backgrounds, the one thing we have in common is the enjoyment of people who are socially aware of their fellow human beings. Your staff, even with language barriers (we speak very little Spanish) was humorously accommodating. We hope you will allow us to return again!”

“Your place was wonderful. Your web site didn’t prepare us for how beautiful and peaceful the setting was. We were driving through the somewhat commercialized area from Quepos and then, “boom”, it was like we were transported to this magical place away from the everyday cares of life. With a large party we expected to have someone left out of a sleeping space but we all had a comfortable place to sleep. My first night in the master bedroom was so restful with the sound of the waves crashing and animal and bird voices heard gently in the background. It put me right to sleep. Your luxurious bedding and pillows might have helped as well. Cecilia and Jaime were the best part of the whole experience. Jaime met all of our needs and helped us choose which tours to take and even accompanied us on one of them when we asked him. He is really a fun guy to be around. Cecilia can really cook a great meal and with a smile. It took her a couple of days to get used to cooking for such a large party but after the third day we started having left-overs in the fridge. She kept fresh towels and linens every day. I would leave a pair of shorts in the basket in the morning and when I came back in the afternoon they were clean. I hope we didn’t burden her too much. You’ve got some great people working for you. For all of these reasons and much more my wife and I are already planning for next year, you will be hearing from us in the next couple of days. We especially enjoyed the wildlife near the Villa that Jamie was able to point out to us, he showed us a 3 toed sloth no more than 50 yards from us the without his keen eye, we would not have been able to pick out.”
